We have used Utah Pet Access at both of our houses. I love that they bring a new door with the doggie door cut into the glass and we get to keep our original glass. At our first house, we had to have a custom glass insert made because of the plastic pieces that were in the glass door. It was a perfect match to the rest of the door. There was only one spot that it would work since we have a lot of windows. The company installer came the day we scheduled the install and while at our house my husband and I changed our minds and wanted the glass door doggie access instead . The installer who is one of the owners was so patient and friendly. So instead of installing the wall doggie door he measured for the glass doggie door. Utah Pet Access was awesome to work with, I highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a pet door added. The measuring process was super quick, the pros were very communicative on how long it would take to get our large glass section made, and when they could get it installed. Once it was ready the install pro came out and had everything finished within 30ish minutes! They even replaced the adhesive on my security sensor and reinstalled that on the door for me. We have used Utah Pet Access for dog doors twice. We were originally pointed to them by our sister. They did a great job with both installations. The first one was in glass and the second one was in a solid portion of the door. Both installations were excellent. I was originally concerned with putting a dog door in glass, but now, I see that if you limit the cut to the glass it is less expensive to restore to the original state (when you sell). Our new house has a solid door, so we would have to buy a new door if that time comes. UPA was fast and efficient. The door seal is good without any obvious leaks. They cleaned up well after the job. If I need another door, I would likely use them again.

These doors are a game changer! My wife and I reminisce how it used to be such a pain to coordinate schedules or wake up in the night to let our dogs out in the back yard.. those days are over thanks to Utah Pet Access! Their team is super knowledgeable, and their install guys are friendly and very good at what they do. They are a costly investment, but I wouldn’t trade our doors for triple what we paid for the convenience they created for us and our dogs. The integrated blinds work very well and the sight windows on each side of out door flap allow them to still see out when we have the door block on when we don’t want them out.

These people were fabulous to work with! We were uncertain if a door would work in the area we needed it but they were able to measure and draw up a plan that was perfect for our needs. The door is very durable which we needed for our large Siberian husky. He has learned to navigate it with ease and lives to run in and out. The flap is so sturdy and durable that we haven’t had any problems which breakage or cracking. Recommend this company completely.

UPA replaced a large, fixed arched window that is on the 3rd floor. They did encounter a problem with the thickness of the gap between the panes on the day of the install but caught it before fully removing the original window. They were out the next business day to finish the job. First day it was raining; second day the wind was rather bad. No complaints from them. Also had them replace the fixed glass in french doors with ones that have the built-in blinds. We will use UPA again if the need arises.

These folks did a custom install for us in a small window. It's been perfect, they helped us figure out the right size even though our dog was just a puppy at the time, they were professional, easy to work with, and did a fantastic job. The place I wanted it installed made it difficult to slide the cover in from the top (for when you want to block off the door), but they figured out a super easy solution where they cut a little chip in the side so I can easily slide the cover in from the side and it fits securely. We have no problems with cold air coming in, which was a concern of mine when we were first looking, it's a really high quality door. We've had it for about 2.5 years now with no issues whatsoever, and our dog sprints in and out of it full speed all day long. It's so nice for our dog to be able to enjoy our backyard on his own schedule. If you're thinking about it, get your dog a door! It's nice to be able to get some fresh air without having to ask someone!

We had a great experience! We have French doors leading out to our deck and that was really the only place a dog door would work. They walked us through the pros and cons and pricing of switching to a sliding glass door with a dog door built in vs. keeping our French doors and adding a custom dog door to those. We decided to stick with the French doors and were so happy with the result I did a lot of research on the different dog-door-in-the-glass-door options, and this was by far the best option in my opinion. The process was quick and Trevor and the installer were both super friendly and helpful. I called afterwards because my dog was having a hard time pushing the door open (she’s small) and Trevor walked me through some work-arounds and even sent me a quick video he filmed on the spot to show me how to do what he suggested. 10/10 recommend these guys!

Really happy with the result! We had been using one of those dog door inserts in our sliding glass door for a couple years now. But our dogs are so big that the insert we needed was huge. It didn’t allow us access to our back patio area at all. I found Utah Pet Access online and they had exactly what we needed to get our back door functional again! It took our dogs a couple days to adjust to the new flap (old flat was much more flimsy) but they are using it great now! I would highly recommend them to anyone else that likes to invest in the welfare of their dogs.

Utah Pet Access was great!! It took maybe 3 minutes to measure and the installation was on time and took about 30. The door is absolutely perfect and fits the needs of all 3 of our dogs. Definitely recommend them if you’re looking for an alternative to the pesky inserts that take up space. Great experience!

I have worked with Utah Pet Access in two different homes and I loved both experiences. My dogs being able to get in and out of the house on their own is LIFE-CHANGING! It’s so great to not have to get out of bed in the middle of the night to let them out. The door is high quality and doesn’t let in air, and it was easy for my dogs to figure out, and as much as I love it, my dogs love it even more! It’s a way better product than what you can install yourself using a dog door kit from places like Home Depot, and it’s not as expensive as you’d think. I tell every dog owner I know to get these doors!

We are so happy with the doggy door we had installed by Utah Pet Access. They were easy to work with, friendly, and a reliable company. We were worried we wouldn't be able to add a doggy door and still have the built in blinds, but they made it work! The door looks great and our dog now has the freedom he needs!

We called to get pricing and make an appt. I called on a Friday, late afternoon. I was shocked someone answered and they had an appt for Monday afternoon. I was late getting home from work on Monday but was relieved that they still went to measure and look at my door. I paid the next day on our invoice and was surprised they kept to their word of about 2.5 week's. They did great and they were very courteous and customer service minded. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Loved! Utah Pet Access came highly recommended from a friend who had used them earlier in the year. They offer replacement glass like in my friends case or in my case they took out the entire sliding door and replaced it with our custom door. Words can not express how happy we are. We opted for the blinds built in as the room where the door is has several antiques that are light sensitive as well as an office so privacy is a must. Worth every penny and the wait for production time. The staff was also very friendly and great to work for. Prior set up : 5 foot sliding door with medium sized dog door insert. Weather striping was non existent, gaps everywhere that let air in and was energy wasting. New door : 5 foot slider with built in blinds, medium dog door bottom corner with frosted glass to the side for privacy where the blinds can’t reach.

We just got our new doggie door and I am very happy with the service we received from Utah Pet Access. After installation, I had a question about the new door. When I made the initial call, Brad was very helpful and willing to help right away. He called the person who installed the door and he called me back promptly. After answering a few questions, he offered to drive back to my house to help me. You don’t find customer service like this very often. I would absolutely use them again and I will make sure to refer everyone I know to use them.

Utah Pet Access did a great job with our dog door for my toy poodle! They were quick to get me on the schedule for a consultation and once all the materials came in, they were quick to get the door installed! I’m super grateful that they recommend having the french door next to the doggie door replaced so the blinds matched! I wouldn’t have even thought of that. The materials and workmanship is really good. We like how the doggie door is thick and a good weather barrier. The connection and magnet are strong enough to keep out drafts and winds but still easy enough for my 8lb toy poodle to easily run in and out.

We love our door! It has truly been a godsend, what with our big, energetic dog. She is able to rocket through at full speed any time she likes, and we don't have to worry about "messes" in the house when we are gone. We don't live in Salt Lake County, but they were willing to travel to our home twice - once to measure, once to install - and while here were professional, clean and fast. I will definitely call them again if we ever need another pet door!

We were looking around for dogs doors to slide in the sliding glass door. But then realized we would loose most of the sliding door. So i Googled dog doors and found a couple places that did the dog door built into the glass. Utah pet access was the cheapest I found. They had great customer service and showed up on time.
